Update on Baby Maddox #2 and HELP

This pregnacy is flying by! I am already 18 weeks and we find out Wednesday what the sex is! We are so excited. I keep getting asked if I want a boy or girl. It really doesn't matter to me. If it is a boy, we have most things we will need. If it is a girl, that would be awsome. One of each. There is a 50/50 chance it is either.

I am having a problem with tis blog. After I upload pictures, I only see them as text in the preview, not the actual picture. Once they are posted, I can see the actual picture. It makes it really difficult to put captions under the pictures, when I can't see them. Any suggestions?

Myrtle Beach, 2010

In September we took our annual Honeycutt beach trip. We had a great time. Cameron LOVED it. He liked the pool, the sand, and the ocean. I am sure next year he will be running around everywhere.

First Trip To England

We took Cameron on his first trip to Enland this summer. Our primary reason for going is for Adam and Catherine's wedding (bottom 5 pictures). Since we would be in England, we decided to have a Christening for Cameron (first 5 pictures). We had a great trip, but busy.

OMG!!!

Notice any additions to the blog? Yes, Baby Maddox #2 is on the way! We didn't exactly plan on the second baby coming so quickly, but we are excited. Baby #2 is due March 11, 2011. Cameron will be just over 13 months old when his little brother or sister comes along.

It is strange to find out about this pregnancy so far into it. With Cameron, we found out almost immediately! This pregnancy will go by quickly. I am already 13 weeks.

Pool Time

This past weekend we went to a pool party for Colin Weeks' 3rd birthday. This was Cameron's first time in a real pool. I think he liked it. He pretty much watched the big kids swim and splash around. He wasn't too sure of the float, but maybe he can get used to it.

Houston, We Have a Problem

Cameron has started pulling up. He pulled up on the couch earlier today and in his crib this evening. Simon lowered the mattress in the crib! He is growing up so fast! We are thinking walking by Christmas! Will he ever slow down again?

Finally!

I think the new title of our blog says it all. The post below has some recent pictures of Cameron. He was 6 months old yesterday. He weighs 17lbs 5 oz and is 27in long. We did find out at his check-up that he has an ear infection! Great! He is pretty good at sitting up on his own. He loves eating his rice cereal and baby food. I will try to be a better blogger in the future.

First trip to the Mountains

Last Saturday we decided to take a day trip to Blowing Rock. It was a beautiful clear day. It was slightly cooler up there than it was here in Lexington. We started with lunch at the Six Pence Pub. One of our favorite places to eat. After lunch we drove up the parkway to check out the views from the top of the mountains. Gosh, it was a beautiful day. We took a couple of pictures and the headed back to town. We decided to stop at Julian Price Park and let Cameron stretch his legs. We happen to have a towel in the car and an umbrella to create some shade. Cameron had a great time playing. I can't wait to go back and let him play in the creek that runs through the park. When my brother and I were younger, we would tie a string to a 20oz soda bottle and float it down the creek. It was simple, but fun. After feeding Cameron at the park we went to the Tanger Outlets for some shopping. This was our real reason to go. I needed some clothes to wear when I go back to work.

Ever wonder why they are called the Blue Ridge Mountains?

We created our own shade at Price Park
Cameron enjoyed the fresh mountain air.

Happy Bithday Nana!

Saturday we celebrated my Nana's 89th birthday! It was a wonderful day. The entire family was there. I don't have a copy yet of the picture of the entire family, but I do have one of Nana with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
