Scruffy

It is that time of year again. Time for Lexie to get groomed. I am surprised that the ASPCA hasn't come and taken her out of our custody. She was in desperate need of some grooming. So Simon took her to Country Kritters for a bath, haircut, manicure and whatever else they do to dogs at the groomers. She came back so pretty and white. It always amazes us when she has had a proper grooming. She changes color. I didn't want a white dog. O well. The top picture is before and the bottom is after. She does not have green eyes, it is just the reflection of the flash.

Dream Come True

Simon and I had a dream come true last night. We went to see Bon Jovi in concert. I know that is not every one's dream, but it was ours. It was great. Daughtry opened for Bon Jovi and Simon and I were kinda disappointed. They were loud and more heavy metal than they sound on the radio. It was neat to see Chris Daughtry in his hometown. Chris did come out and sing a song with Bon Jovi. That was neat. Bon Jovi played for about 2 hours! Every time I thought they were about done, they would do something bigger and better. I am really glad that we went. After getting out of the coliseum and the parking lot we got home close to one. That is late for a school night.

We also have joined the gaming world. Simon bought at wii. Each of us have only spend a few minutes on it, but I can tell we will be spending any free time with the wii. I have won a couple of rounds on the boxing game. That is a workout. Maybe I will post a picture of us with our new toy.
