No, not Cameron, Simon.

2 Months Old!

My baby is already 2 months old! Where did the time go. This also means that I only have a month left before I go back to work. That will be hard. Anyway, here are Cameron's stats:

Weight: 11lbs 3oz

Height: 23 1/4 in

Weight: 7lbs 7oz

Height: 20 in

The doctor was proud of Cameron's progress. He is lifting and turning his head during tummy time; tracking objects and people when they move; smiling and cooing; and he has even rolled over!

Happy Birthday Jackson

Cousin Jackson turned 1 today!! That means a year ago Simon and I were coming back from our trip to Paris and England. What a difference a year makes. Cameron and I went down to Charlotte with my parents to the party. Simon had to work :( We had a great time. Cameron slept some and was a wake some.

We wanted a picture of Cameron and Jackson next to each other. We decided that laying on the ground was the best way to take it. It is extremely hard these day to get Jackson for any period of time.

Busy Weekend

Last weekend was very busy for Cameron. On Friday we went to visit Cameron's Great Uncle Mel and Great Aunt Peggy. It was a great visit.

On Saturday we went to Charlotte to visit Uncle David, Aunt Ashley, and Cousin Jackson. Right now Jackson is too busy crawling around to play with Cameron, but one day they will be able to play together.

Sunday was Cameron's first trip to church. He was awake for a little bit but did fall asleep. I guess it is ok for him to fall asleep during church, he is still little.

Changes

Cameron has started smiling more and laughing some. He has actually rolled over too! Actually twice! I think both times were an accident, but we are still proud. Here are some pictures of him smiling and of tummy time.

Enjoying A Walk

We have been able to get out of the house more and walk around the neighborhood. Cameron sleeps during the walks and Lexie enjoys getting out and sniffing.

First 'real' Bath

Cameron got his first bath in his tub tonight. It still wasn't much more than the sponge baths he was getting on his changing table. I think he liked it. How soon can we put Cameron and Lexie in the tub together?

Meeting Cousin Jackson

Finally Cameron got to meet his cousin, Jackson. It was a wonderful day. Cameron's Great-Grandmother, Nana was able to come and visit too. She loved holding Cameron and watching Jackson crawling around the floor and 'talking.'

1 Month Old

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Today Cameron is one month old. It seems like this first month has flown by. Here are some pictures from the first month.

WOW

OK it has been a very long time since I have done any posting. I really meant to get some done after Christmas, but I didn't.

So, Cameron decided to come a little early. His due date was February 1 and he was born January 22. I was only in labor for about 23 hours. Labor and delivery went pretty well. I was one of the lucky ones to experience a spinal headache from the epidural. Due to the headache our stay at the hopsital went from 48 hours to 5 nights! We did finally make it home and eventualy the headache went away.

We are all home and doing great. Simon's parents are here and are being a huge help along with my parents.
